Vaginal Rejuvenation
Murrieta Doctor Helps to Improve Urinary Incontinence and Relieve Painful Sex
Why does no on talk about the fact that:
- 33% of women experience bladder leakage when they laugh, sneeze, or workout.
- 40% of women experience vaginal looseness after childbirth that causes loss of sexual
sensation. - 50% of women suffer from vaginal dryness and irritation after menopause.
- It is common for women to experience painful sex that feels like “sandpaper” or “broken glass” after menopause.
Improve Sexual Comfort with FemiLift:
FemiLift is an FDA-approved CO2 laser that rejuvenates the vagina. The FemiLift utilizes a thin vaginal probe that is inserted into the vagina and is gently rotated in a 360-degree fashion. It delivers pulsed CO2 light waves to the vaginal tissue, which creates microtears deep into the vaginal mucosa. As these wounds heal, the body stimulates collagen and elastin production and improves blood flow to the vagina. This creates stronger and healthier vaginal tissue and restores the vaginal lubrication lost after menopause. Clinical studies showing 90% of women have a significant improvement in their vaginal symptoms after finishing a series of a few treatments.
Enjoy the Benefits of FemiLift:
- Improves sexual comfort by stopping the painful tearing sensation that occurs during intercourse
- Improves vaginal lubrication
- Strengthens the vaginal walls
- Strengthens the urethra to reduce urinary leakage
- Helps to rebalance the vaginal pH to prevent recurring infections
- Helps reduce the feeling of constantly having a vaginal infection
- Reduces vaginal irritation due to chronic vaginal dryness
How is Femilift Different than the Duo?
While the Femilift improves sexual comfort for both partners by increasing vaginal lubrication and strengthening the vaginal walls (making intercourse more pleasurable for the male), the Duo increases clitoral sensitivity. This makes it easier for the woman to become stimulated and to reach a climax. The two devices go hand-in-hand to turn back the clock and restore sexual comfort and pleasure, thereby enhancing intimate moments for both partners.
Is FemiLift Safe?
The treatment is clinically proven to be safe with tremendous results. More than 90% of women report significant improvement in their symptoms after their recommended course of treatment. Moreover, there has been more than 30 different clinical studies conducted involving more than 30,000 patients across the U.S. and there has never been a serious complication reported to the FDA. Some women do notice an increase in vaginal discharge or burning when they urinate for the week following the procedure.
How do I Know if I Can Benefit from This Treatment?
We recommend FemiLift for women suffering from painful sex due to vaginal dryness, recurrent urinary or vaginal infections, and/or urinary leakage. It also helps women heal after a hysterectomy or recent childbirth and it can be used by any woman who wants to keep her vagina young and healthy. Women who have a severe prolapse of the bladder or an active infection are not candidates for this treatment. For this reason, a quick pelvic exam is required before starting your first treatment.
How is FemiLift Different from Other Devices?
Most “vaginal rejuvenation” devices use radiofrequency. These devices work by heating the vaginal probe to a high temperature while pulling and pushing the probe in and out of the vagina. Radiofrequency devices are imprecise and the heat from the probe is often not distributed evenly, which can be painful and even lead to vaginal burns. Additionally, radiofrequency devices only treat the superficial vaginal mucosa, which causes vaginal tightening and treats urinary incontinence, but does not improve overall vaginal health the way the FemiLift does.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Your provider will perform a pelvic exam to determine the number of sessions you need. It is typically recommended you complete 3-5 sessions spaced one month apart in order to achieve optimal results. We usually recommend hormone therapy and an annual FemiLift maintenance treatment to maintain your results. With proper maintenance, you should continue to see results for years to come.
Does the FemiLift Hurt?
No. The treatment is no more painful or uncomfortable than your annual Well Woman exam. You might feel some pressure as the probe is being inserted and rotated in the vagina, but it is essentially painless. It is a simple, in-office procedure that takes about 30 minutes. It requires no painkiller or anesthesia.
What is the Downtime?
Minimal. You will want to avoid inserting anything into the vagina (douche, tampons, sex, etc.) or soaking in water for the first 48 hours after each treatment. Otherwise, you can immediately return to your normal activities.
Is this Procedure Expensive?
Although the FemiLift is proven, FDA-approved technology, it is not covered by insurance. The recommended course of treatments will cost you the equivalent of a cup of coffee a day for a year. You will have to pay out-of-pocket for these treatments, but, if you are suffering from vaginal dryness, recurring infections, or painful sex, this treatment can help restore your quality of life.
